MATTHEW QUIGLEY ON AI

As a savvy professional, Mr Quigley knows how to properly use his tools of the trade.


He is well aware of the great potential of his everyday tools and life hacks, especially when it comes to managing his freelance activity. Like many other professionals, he finds the following things very helpful:

- spell checker
- invoicing software
- email
- social media
- project management tools
- website

Plus, he is particularly friendly with Alexa, Siri, and other virtual assistants because he is fond of science fiction and watched the Terminator franchise many times, so much so that he prefers to avoid any possible misunderstanding when addressing them.

That said, Mr Quigley enjoys writing his own posts without asking AI for help, even if this means spending two hours looking for the right words, as it might happen when publishing a post written in his second or third language. 

Following the example of his good friend Amélie Poulain, he appreciates the small pleasures of life, e.g. reading books, having a conversation with his friends, and strolling in the fresh air. He doesn't want AI to do these things for him, otherwise, his life would be just a simple sequence of eating-sleeping-working-repeat till the end of times.

Be like Mr Quigley. Remeber that AI is a useful mean, not a goal to be achieved.
