In 2019, I spent a week in Cardiff teaching Translation from English into Italian.


Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme between Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici di Pisa and Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, I had the opportunity to experience university life in Wales.


As translators, we must learn about other cultures.


Travelling, studying or working abroad for even a short period, and talking to people from cultures other than our own are all good ways to do this.
